Our workshops

Experts in production management since 2005, we have a workshop in France and we have established long term relationships with certified workshops in India and Europe. They share our values and meet strict environmental, social and transparency criteria. Thus, we know where our raw materials come from, where and how our products are made.

These workshops also have specific know-how: depending on your budget, your positioning and your deadlines, we will help you choose the manufacturing site best suited to your project!

Our workshops in Laval, France

Les Ateliers des Mouettes was inaugurated in 2020, in Laval, Mayenne, to manufacture organic cotton masks, an ecological alternative to the shortage of disposable masks. They are the first workshops to be GOTS certified in France. 

We now employ 30 seamstresses and seamstresses andwe use French industrial know-how to manufacture eco-responsible textile products through our various workshops:

  • Sleeved pieces (suits, sailors)
  • Accessories: bags, kits
  • Zero waste: make-up remover wipes, furoshiki, menstrual panties
  • Sportswear fashion
  • Complete repair service for the major luxury brands.

By participating in the revival of the textile industry in France, we promote short circuits and we pursue more than ever our mission at the social level. Les Mouettes Vertes are part of the association FACON DE FAIRE, which encourages textile reindustrialization in France and participates in the movement for a local and sustainable fashion.

Thanks to our geographical proximity, we have forged strong links with a workshop in the Porto region, in order to benefit from the unique Portuguese know-how, particularly in the manufacture of knitwear and warp and weft.

Our historical partner in India

It is with this workshop, certified GOTS, SA800 and fair trade, that the adventure of Les Mouettes began in 2005. Since then, a relationship of trust has been established with India. It has allowed us to consolidate our expertise in production management and to become a leader in ecological textile clothing.
