Les Mouettes Vertes had the pleasure to announce during the Natexpo exhibition the recognition of their approach in favor of fair trade. The Worldwide Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO) welcomes Les Mouettes Vertes as a certified member.
If this status is new, it is now 13 years that Les Mouettes Vertes has been promoting employment in its workshop near Bombay, in satisfactory working conditions, with a fair remuneration of the staff, as well as a health, maternity and retirement coverage more favorable than the regulation imposes. In this respect, the garment factory has been SA 8000 certified for more than 5 years.
WFTO: strict fair trade specifications
This approach is in line with the vocation of Les Mouettes Vertes: to be a reference in the offer of cotton products respectful of the planet and the people.
