What is a pouchon?

A pouch is a small, flexible bag, usually made of fabric, used to hold and carry a variety of objects. It is characterized by its simple shape, often rectangular or square, with an opening at the top that can be closed with a cord or tie. The word "pochon" is a diminutive of "poche", itself derived from the Frankish "pokka", meaning "bag". This origin dates back to the Middle Ages, when pouches were small bags attached to belts. Over time, the term evolved to designate a more specific, independent container. Today, the pouch is appreciated for its versatility, eco-friendliness and customizability, making it popular in a variety of contexts, from everyday to special events.

Our organic cotton pouches

Organic cotton is grown without GMOs, pesticides or toxic, polluting phytosanitary products. Organic cotton is known for its low water consumption. Our organic cotton comes from a subtropical region in India, where climatic conditions are ideal and require no irrigation.

All our organic cotton pouches are GOTS-certified, a label with the highest environmental and social standards.

Our recycled cotton pouches

Recycled cotton is the best way to preserve natural resources and reduce both waste and the ecological footprint of the textile industry.

Our recycled cotton pouches are made from recycled fibers and are GRS-certified. Our recycling loop also gives a second life to your textile waste (scraps, unsold items).

The GRS label guarantees that at least half the fibers making up a pouch are recycled. It also ensures perfect fiber traceability and impeccable composition, and reflects the environmental and social commitment of every player in the value chain.
